Our hunt for the perfect boat is over.  It was a long search and involved  5 years of traveling from New England to Florida, and from East Coast to West Coast. After discussing boats with some experienced sea mates, our “short list” of boats was developed.  The brand of boat at the top of the list, the Taswell 43.  Five of these boats appeared on the market during the time frame we were searching, all five were sold before we could make an appointment to see them.  Our luck finally changed and we were able to purchase FoxSea, the Taswell 43 of our dreams.  See Unfurling Dreams and Unfurling Dreams II in Blog Posts for the full story.

Taswell Yachts Background Information

Taswell sailing yachts are built by Ta Shing. The first Taswell yacht was launched in 1986 and since then well over 100 have been built in a wide range of sizes from 43 to 72 feet. These beautiful cruising sailboats are widely known for their superb craftmanship and extraordinary circumnavigation abilities. The first vessel in Taswell’s line of modern, technically advanced performance cruiser series was introduced in 1988. While advancing themselves into the world of state-of-the-art design and technology, the new series still maintained the refined luxury, elegance, and dependability that made them world famous.
